Lesson
This trip is 2-3 hours. Geared for a quick taste of fly-fishing and fly
casting. First, you will learn to cast and to tie some basic fishing knots.
Then we will get you on the water to practice your skills. This trip is $75
for the first person and $25 for each additional angler, up to two per guide.
Transportation, flies, snack/drinks and equipment are provided.

Half
Day
This trip is 5 hours. A great introductory trip and offers a
great opportunity to learn to cast, tie some knots and then have plenty of
time to practice your new skills. Advanced anglers will enjoy a morning or
afternoon of great fishing as well! We will drive to one of our best fishing
spots. The price for this trip is $100 for the first person and $50 for each
additional angler with a maximum of two people per guide. Transportation,
flies, snack/drinks and equipment are provided.

Full Day
This trip is 8-10 hours. On this trip, we will get to go to some of the
premier fishing spots in the area. The South Platte, Clear Creek, Williams
Fork and Blue River are a few of the rivers you may fish. It is not uncommon
to land a fish over 20 inches on these trips. The drives are as scenic as
they get. If you are a beginner, you will learn to cast, tie some knots and
much more throughout the day. With the whole day, you will have plenty of
time to practice your newfound skills, and the possibilities are endless. As
an experienced angler, you will get to fish to your hearts content all day long!
The price for this trip is $150 for the first person and $50 for each
additional angler with a maximum of two people per guide. Transportation,
flies, equipment and lunch are provided.

Private Water (Full Day Only)
Ken’s
Anglers has secured rights to three miles of private trout waters along the
North Fork of the South Platte River. In many cases, your party will be the
only ones on the property that is located about 50 miles from Denver in Shawnee, Colorado. Boxwood Gulch and Long Meadow offer some of the finest private water
fly fishing in the state. Please call for details.

Ken’s
Anglers has also secured the right to guide on other private waters through the
Rocky Mountain Angling Club (RMAC). Private waters include the Middle Fork of
the South Platte, Arkansas, Tarryall and many other waters.
